8/13 (Tue) Update Notice

Hello Masters. This is GM Proxxon.
Let’s take a look at what we have in store for you in this week’s update.

Players will be able to experience this update in-game following the maintenance.

Please see below for more details.

1. New Hero, Maxie, Drop Rate Up!
 - A new hero, Maxie, a hero who synergizes well with mages and rangers and can incapacitate enemies by inflicting burn, will be joining us during the upcoming Drop Rate Up event.

※ The new hero, Maxie, will be added to Normal Recruit after the Drop Rate Up event ends.

2. Edelweiss Drop Rate Up!

- Edelweiss, a hero who can protect allies and ignore the target’s defense when there is only one target, will be featured in the upcoming Drop Rate Up event.

3. New Side Story Added and Existing Side Stories Adjustments
- Maxie’s Side Story will be added.
ㄴ Players will be able to access it via the category, ‘New Encounters.’ ㄴ The Side Story will consist of 9 battle stages and 3 story stages.      The Side Story will be moved to the 'A Brief Interlude' tab after Maxie’s Drop Rate Up period ends.       Furthermore, adjustments will be made to its entry condition and dungeon level. - Maxie’s Side Story will be moved to the 'A Brief Interlude' tab, and its entry condition will be adjusted to become available after reaching Account Level 45. ㄴ If you cleared at least one stage of Kappa’s side story before the patch, the Side Story will remain available.  4. New Event Dungeon, Mystery of the Oasis!
- A new Event Dungeon, Mystery of the Oasis!, will be available.
- The story will be divided weekly, and the event shop will be available for 3 weeks.

1) Unlock Condition
- Clear Normal Adventure Season 1 Area 3-3
2) Schedule 

- Event Schedule: 8/13 after the maintenance ~ 8/27 before the maintenance

- Event Shop Availability: 8/13 after the maintenance ~ 9/2 23:59 UTC

- Ranked Challenge Period: 8/20 00:00 UTC ~ 8/27 before the maintenance

※ After the event period ends, only the Event Shop will remain accessible.

3) How to Use

- To access the event dungeon for "Mystery of the Oasis!", tap on the event story banner in the lobby or navigate to the events list under the featured event banner.

- You can acquire various rewards by completing missions in the event area.

- During the event period, you can acquire special event currency by clearing dungeons in the event area. (Initial Clear and Repeat Rewards)

- Hard mode will be made available once all of the normal difficulty event dungeons have been successfully cleared.

- You can enter the hard mode dungeon up to 20 times per day to earn event currency.

4) Ranked Challenge

- You can enter the Ranked Challenge during the last week of the event period.

- You can acquire rewards relative to the rank you've acquired based on the damage dealt. (Available once per day)

5) Check-In Event

- Check-in event rewards will be available during the event period.

6) Event Shop 
 - You can use ‘Suspicious Crystal’ acquired from playing through the ‘Mystery of the Oasis!’ Dungeon
 to exchange for various items. 

 - You can access the shop during the 2 weeks of the event and during the following week for a total of 3 weeks.

7) Event Bonus Hero
- Clearing the event dungeon, ‘Mystery of the Oasis!’ with main character heroes will grant more event currency.
 (This does not apply to the initial clear rewards and stages cleared with a story team.)  

8) Event Rewards
  - You will be able to acquire a large amount of dungeon clear rewards and mission rewards including Normal/Special Recruitment Tickets (Event) and Ether.

- You will be able to purchase the following items by spending event currency you have acquired. 

- The Event Shop can be found by visiting the event page and can be accessed by going to Lobby > Shop.

5. New Guild Raid Season

- The new Guild Raid Season, "Prevent World Alteration," will begin according to the schedule below.
ㄴ Schedule: 8/14 00:00 ~ 8/24 00:00 UTC
ㄴ Calculation Period: 8/24 00:00 ~ 8/31 00:00 UTC
ㄴ Break Schedule: 8/31 00:00 UTC ~ the start of the next season

6. Arena League of Glory Begins

- A new Arena League will begin.

1) League Name
: League of Glory will be available for 13 weeks.
  It will be followed by a pre-season period.    ※ The free league period is subject to change.    ※ The event runs for 12 weeks, with the 13th week designated as the calculation period.2) League Schedule
: 8/19 00:00 ~ 11/18 00:00 UTC
  11/11 00:00 ~ 11/18 00:00 UTC → The Arena matches played during this period will not affect the League Rank and Rewards.   ㄴ During the Arena Season, players can earn additional rewards in the form of League Medals and League Points, in addition to the existing Ether rewards, by participating in Arena battles.    ㄴLeague Medals can be used in Shop to purchase items.    ㄴFinal Rank is based on accumulated League Points.    ㄴThe progress of a total of 12 weeks will be applied to the final League Rank, and the final week will be a calculation period and any progress during this period will not affect the League Rank.       (Players can receive the Season Rewards after the calculation period.)

※ Although the Developer's Note initially stated the period as 8/13 to 10/13, the start date had to be adjusted due to weekly reset schedules. The league will now run from 8/19 00:00 ~ 11/18 00:00 UTC, still covering the same 13-week period as originally planned.  (The 13th week will be the calculation period.)
Thank you for your understanding regarding the changes in schedule from what was initially announced in the Developer's Note.
 3) Exchange Period
: 11/18 00:00 ~ 11/25 00:00 UTC
ㄴ Once the exchange period begins, players can receive the League Rank rewards with the league closing pop-up when entering the Arena UI.ㄴ Once the exchange period ends, all your League Medals will be converted into Arena Medals and the League product sales will end.ㄴ The period after the end of the exchange period and before the start of the next league will be the free league period.

4) Duelist's Pledge
ㄴ The Duelist’s Pledge buff will be applied as follows for Gold III or above.
ㄴ At the start of battle increases Accuracy of all participating heroes by 150

5) Hall of Fame
: When the Arena Season ends, the top three Masters will be placed in the Hall of Fame.
: The Hall of Fame history will remain even when the next Arena Season begins.

1) New Battle Pass
- A new Battle Pass will be added, featuring Maxie's costume, Desert Rampage Maxie, as a reward.

- Battle Pass sale ends: 2024-09-09 22:00 UTC
- Battle Pass ends: 2024-09-10 00:00 UTC

2) New Packs

8. Limited Shop

- The limited shop will be available for two weeks following the update.
   ㄴ Sales Period: 8/13 after the maintenance ~ 8/27 before the maintenance

9. Other Changes and Improvements

- A story skip function will be added.
ㄴ Only dialogue scenes will be skipped; cutscene videos will not be skipped and will play as usual.
ㄴ You can adjust the skip settings in the game under Settings > Show Story.

- When purchasing or using items, you'll be able to directly set the maximum quantity.

- Improvements will be made to the filter function

1. Fixed an issue where filters reset when returning to the hero/inventory window after selecting a hero or item. Now, filters will only reset when returning to the main lobby.
2. The timing of the equipment filter reset has been adjusted when changing a hero's equipment.   ㄴ Before: When entering the Gear Growth UI   ㄴ After: When returning to the hero window3) The timing of the equipment filter reset has been adjusted when changing equipment from the equipped status screen.    ㄴ Before: When entering the Gear Growth UI   ㄴ After:When returning to the Equipped Status screen 4) A Battle Type filter will be added for weapons and accessories. 5) A talisman filter feature will be added.

- The effects displayed in the Synchro Room have been updated.

10. Error Fixes
- Fixed an issue where the Battle Pass purchase button was disabled after logging out of an account with purchase history and logging in with a different account.

- Fixed an where the effects of the defender hero's legendary weapon 'Talisman of Animosities ' and the healer type hero's legendary weapon 'Iron Messiah' did not activate on counterattacks.

- Fixed an issue where some dialogues were not displayed when recruiting Gnosis Dalia while the language was set to English.

- Fixed an issue where some backgrounds were incorrectly displayed when moving to the next dungeon setup screen after achieving MVP with Kanon on an iOS.

- Fixed an issue where Gnosis Dalia's hair would partially clip through her shoulders during level-up animations.

- Fixed an issue where text on the Special Pass purchase page within the Battle Pass purchase popup was incorrectly displayed.
 ㄴ Battle Pass Points will now be immediately granted at level 15 instead of level 10.

- Fixed an issue where certain allies and monsters did not correctly absorb a portion of the damage taken by allies.

- Fixed an issue where buffs unrelated to the Arena are displayed on the Arena team formation screen.

- Fixed an issue where certain heroes, monsters, and items are not absorbing a portion of the damage meant for allies as intended.

- Fixed an issue where the text 'Synchro Applied' appeared in Korean in the bottom right corner when clicking on a synced hero on the hero window.
